EUROPEAN RESEARCH FOR DEVELOPMENT POLICIES
European Research for Development Policies
Development policy is a complex and dynamic field that is impacted by emerging global trends and challenges as well as local and regional issues. International, regional and country-specific development policies need to be reviewed and continuously adapted to this context of constant change.
In order to better understand current development issues, anticipate future challenges and tackle them effectively, it is vitally important to support and promote a fruitful and constant dialogue between policy-makers and the research community.
The initiative Mobilising European Research for Development Policies supports and promotes such dialogue with the academia, research organisations, NGOs and other thought-leaders through two main channels: the European Report on Development and Policy and Research Workshops for Development.
